LES MIS CH 2

 My thoughts on Chapter 2 are gratitude as if I have met the Bishop and have nothing else but to thank him for all that he's done. So far M. Myriel appears to be nothing short of a hero. He's always giving to those in need and never once did he adopt the expensive lifestyles of previous bishops. He gives all his earnings to charity and only keeps what he needs for his basic needs. He continues to use his power as bishop for good and charging the rich for his services and giving those earnings back to the poor. I have a feeling that the story will take a turn and for some strange reason M. Myriel will succumb to the desire for an expensive lifestyle, it's just a hunch though because where's the excitement in the story if there's no 180* turn.
